After I made tmux and Fluxbox dark, now Vimperator goes dark, too.
This Vimperator is created for matching Clearlooks Zenburn GTK+ theme12.
Download the .vimp and put it into ~/.vimperator/colors/. You can preview it in Vimperator by entering :colorscheme <TAB>, you should be seeing it on the list. Add colorscheme vimPgray to your ~/.vimperatorrc. If you are not a Linux user, you need to find out where to put .vimp on your own.
The file is modified from the default scheme from here with quite a lot of changes and some additional explanation, but there are still some I have no idea where they would be applied.
[1] | If you are using Windows, just find a nice dark Windows or Firefox theme to match this Vimperator theme. |
[2] | Download it and unpack it to ~/.themes, then use the switcher to use it |
Thanks for the tip. It works, but it would help if the results were dynamic as they are in the search box.
ReplyDeleteNonetheless, there's no reason I can't use both. I like vimperator but I find it lacks in this category.
It already works by default. You type `:open google goo`, then you will get the suggestion list. Also works on other search engine, e.g. `:open yahoo goo`.
ReplyDeleteSorry, the link has been fixed.
ReplyDeleteI am not able to download your colorscheme.
ReplyDeleteFor me the link appears to link to vimperator.org.
Have you by chance found a way to use Vimperator with Google Suggest search?
ReplyDeleteI found that using Vimperator meant giving up the address bar & search suggest features of Firefox.
This great, thank You very much!
ReplyDeleteMaybe a good thing to add would be the fact that the .vimperatorrc is a file. Had my problems there with it :P
Very much appreciated!
Just curious, you are not a Linux user, right? Because I think Linux users know it when they read that.
ReplyDeleteIf you are not as I expected, will you also write down where you put the file? I have no idea where you need to place the file on other systems.
When you make an anchor that reads ".txt", make sure it points to file.txt and not some web page with crap around the file. Alternatively make the anchor display "Presentation page for file.txt".
ReplyDeleteGOOD: .txt
BAD: .txt
Thanks for sharing the theme!
