I mentioned Hairy Bikers' potato bread in More bread and this is the one I made:
Haha, just kidding! I was waiting for yeast, so I shaped the mashed potato into a bread look. I braided it, kill two birds with one stone!
This is it just came out of oven:
It looks okay and smells like a bread.
But the taste is weird to me, I could taste a hint of potato and I couldn't describe why it is so strange. I don't think potato and bread should be together. I think that could be the reason they made soup to eat with potato bread. I ate mine with jam and I probably would cook some soup tomorrow.
However, it is really moist although I didn't follow the recipe entirely. (and I forgot to add salt, dunno why) Maybe I added too little flour, not sure.
