Yesterday, someone was committing a crime:
Lots of loud noise, like someone is opening up some heavily packed box. I went out to check up because I was afraid that something happened the day before would happen again, which was a total mess even I mopped a bit and sprayed some air refresher.
I might be too late but some damage control is better late than never, and she froze as she saw me:
Literally. She just stood still with that piece of jerky or evidence still stuck in her teeth, staring at me, not even a blink. I believed that she was awaiting a reaction, just to see if that’s okay to sneak some jerky in.
I went to grab camera, and when I came back seconds later, she was still standing there, waiting. I snapped a few shots before I left her without a word.
But a minute later, those loud noise came back. I thought didn’t she have already had that piece of jerky out of plastic? I went out again, and this mysteriously showed up from nowhere:
I swore that bag of two or three jerky pieces was no anywhere I could see last time I was there, which was about a minute ago. Either she was really smart, knowing to hide, or just happened that bag was hidden under some place I couldn’t see.
Whatever that was, she surely knew I wouldn’t do anything or say anything, let alone yell at her. She just froze for a second, then resumed her snacking on those jerky. I later realized (or caught) that she would even eat food from cat’s bowl. I didn’t’ know that before, no wonder why sometimes the cat had eaten his bowl clean, because it wasn’t him. Now I know.
Dog is smart.
