If I really want to name one thing about life lesson, then it could be time is always running out whether you like or not. It only goes forward, you can look back, but only at past and only looking.

No matter how hard you plan, how detailed your plan is, something always comes up and pull your deadline way ahead. A year, two years, it could turn into just 3 months.

Then, next thing you know, before you sink in, another surprise hits you. Two more months are gone, so you end up having only one month to achieve whatever the goal you set up to be done in a year.

Life can be unpredictable, life can’t be tamed.

All you can do is to cut off everything non-essential after you re-define what’s essential, adjust your plan, accept that it’s going to be an awful result. If something can be put on hold and be separate as a follow-up project after the ridiculous pull-ahead deadline, then you are lucky.

Pray your next project would be with same fate if you have time for next one.
