YJL: Percentage change

For some reason, I could never remember how to describe the percentage change, even though I do know how to calculate $P_{c}$ .

\begin{matrix} P_{c} = \frac{|V_{f} - V_{i}|}{V_{i}} \times 100 % \end{matrix}

$V_{i}$ and $V_{f}$ are the initial and final values, respectively.

If the initial value is smaller, then the value increases by $P_{c} %$ ; larger, the value decreases by the percentage.
