"You have it, right?" Ken asked.

"Yea," Dave answered with uncertainty in his eyes while taking out something from his backpack.

He stood there still and stared at the water.

"What are you waiting for? Let it go!" Ken finally asked impatiently.

"Are you sure about this?" Dave asked back.

"It will be fine, it will be okay," Ken assured him.

Dave looked down at the jar in his hands. He could almost see that little thing through a little hole in red cap. They made that hole for it to breathe, though they wasn't sure if that's really necessary.

He slowly unscrewed the cap and got down on his knees, then he tilted the jar to dump it into a pond. It got confused at first, then it excitedly swam around to explore its new small new world. Soon, it disappeared at the bottom, it's too deep to see clear. The pond wasn't filled with water before, but a recent storm filled it up. Ken figured that out and came up with this idea to put a life in this pond.

"What the hell are you two doing here?" a yell from behind, an old man stood ten feet away.

They jumped up and quickly ran away from the old man, just like last time.

The old man walked to the pond and took a look at pond.

"What the?" He didn't even know the pond was filled if he didn't spot them and came out to check up.

He then smiled.

"Kids!" he chuckled and strolled back to his cabin in the woods.
