If you are a Linux user, you probably have seen cat FILE > /dev/audio or data directory from /dev/\.... And this is the HTML5 version of it, but only accept single file:

The data of file is fed into HTML5 Audio via Data URI in 8 kHz sample rate, 8 bits. The code is basically same in Single frequency wave generation using HTML5 audio. This should work with Firefox and Chrome, not tested in other browsers. I wrote this just to learn a bit of HTML5 File/FileReader stuff, not really something useful except for fun.

By the way, I think MIT License file sound okay. bzip2 sounds like a modem.
