Saw this interesting repository via GitHub Explore/Trending, and I noticed there is a grading line just below my name. After checking the source code, I am at second level from top, the first one is “Passionate.”

I scored 70 points = 2 * 22 public repositories + 0.25 * 68 public Gists + 0.5 * 18 followers + 0.25 * 0 following. The top level needs 150 points, I am nearly half way.

The score doesn’t really mean much. Some GitHub users, Gists (600) or following count (600) alone could easily earn the top title twice, easy. Or how could I predict that there would be 10 millions Gists in 2014?

Hmm, I thought Python should have more percentage, only 18%?
